# AltSearchEngines Get Together: Monday 21 April, San Francisco

This private event, called simply the **AltSearchEngines Get Together** is being held the day before the Web 2.0 Expo. The event is targeted at the hundreds of alternative search engines that Charles Knight covers, so that they can meet and mix. More details below. The AltSearchEngines’ Get Together (by invitation only)

**When?**

Monday, April 21st, from 7am to 5pm

**Where?**

Downtown San Francisco, CA (address will be advised upon registration)

**Why?**

Because mainstream Search conferences cater to the major search engines.
