# New Read/WriteWeb Writers

Thank you to everyone who applied for the [Read/WriteWeb writer roles](https://web.archive.org/web/20120116012356/http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/wanted_rww_writers.php) we wrote about a couple of weeks ago. The response was amazing, with over 120 people applying. There were a lot of good applicants and the shortlist was brimming with talent. However we only had two part-time positions available and they have gone to: **Aidan Henry** and **Andrew Pipes**. You will be hearing more from those two people, as R/WW writers, very soon!

Also a note that [Josh Catone](https://web.archive.org/web/20120116012356/http://www.readwriteweb.com/about_josh.php) will be going full-time on Read/WriteWeb shortly. All of these additions and changes will allow me to focus more on growing the business, although of course I will still be one of the main writers for R/WW.

Thanks again to the 120+ people who applied for the p/t writer role and sorry we could only choose 2 at this time. Also I wasn’t able to reply to all of the applicants personally, I hope you understand.

Finally, a note for startups and companies emailing us news and product pitches. Please use the [tips@readwriteweb.com](https://web.archive.org/web/20120116012356/mailto:tips@readwriteweb.com) address, which goes to myself, Josh and all the main writers on R/WW. Your email stands a much better chance of getting a reply if sent to the tips address, than if sent direct to me ;-).
