# Us and Them

This is about as political as I’ll get here on Read/Write Web, but I couldn’t resist posting [this cartoon by fellow kiwi Tom Scott](https://web.archive.org/web/20050213045202/http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,0a1863,00.html). It also reminds me of the [Getting paid for blogging](https://web.archive.org/web/20050213045202/http://marc.blogs.it/archives/2004/10/rebutt_enlighte.html) controversy that is polarizing bloggers right now. For the record, I think it’s a worthy experiment by Marc Canter… why does everything have to be so *binary*?
